Thais (grade 5) used colored pencils to draw this bird on a branch. She is an ELL student who is progressing nicely with her language and art skills.

I created this blog in 2004 to document my transition from a traditional art program in which students complete art lessons chosen by the teacher to an art program where the students choose the art they wish to make....in essence...behaving like an artist.
